Producer
The Producer’s role is that of overall organiser who brings all the aspects together for opening night. The Producer has the ultimate responsibility of ensuring that the show is ready to open as scheduled.
The Producer also holds a position on the Committee as a General Committee member and holds these responsibilities until the next AGM.

- Meet initially with the Production team, supported by the Committee, to discuss expectations and roles.
- In partnership with the Director organise advertising for audition dates well in advance.
- In partnership with the Director clearly outline expectations for cast and crew, at the first meeting, including clean up responsibilities.
- Any issues within the cast should be dealt with by the Core Production Team (Director, Musical Director, Producer and Choreographer) with the support of the committee.
- Propose a budget for the production.
- Work with the Treasurer/Committee to keep a check on all expenses.
- Make all necessary bookings for rehearsal space and performances.
- Keep the production crew on track in their designated roles.
- Work out with committee any complimentary tickets to be given - these should be kept to a minimum; after all, everyone has worked hard to bring any production to fruition and there are many bills to be paid!
- Keep the committee up to date on progress and highlighting any successes or problems encountered
- Attend any relevant committee meetings during rehearsals.
- Work with the Director to draw up and then hand out a rehearsal schedule.
- Send out all communication (including forms) to the cast and crew.
- Co-ordinate orders and purchasing of T-shirts for all, in consultation with the Committee, ensuring costs are kept to a minimum.
- Get bios from the cast and provide to the Art Director.
- Direct Green Room Manager, as required.
- In the case if there is an Assistant Producer, they are to support the Producer and perform duties as directed by the Producer.
