Publicity Manager

The Publicity Manager’s duties include:
  • Getting the publicity out early; a minimum of four weeks before the show!
  • Getting the posters out about four weeks before the show working with the Art Director.
  • Getting the show talked about. Word of mouth is the most effective advertising.  Ask all cast members to promote the show.
  • Distributing a few complementary tickets (in conjunction with the Committee and Producer) to strategic people.
  • Finding sponsors for the programme.
  • Keeping the Producer aware of all advertising done.
  • Contact local media to promote the show.
  • Any paid advertising is to be approved by the Committee.
